On our own in Rome

To our delight our tour took us right into the Forum. The ruins went on & on. It was thrilling to walk among the ruins and be able to reach out and touch them. And what were we walking on? The ancient Roman paving stones.

It was all just SO COOL!

Statues everywhere! We walked around Rome the entire day.

Just another Amphitheatre. To preserve it they're buildng a residence on top. Kinda wierd.

And the mighty Tiber River!
